This past March, the world premiere of the new musical The Angry Grammarian sold out its entire run. Every seat.
So we’re bringing it back.
The Angry Grammarian: A New Musical runs Sept. 20-29, 2024 at the Arden Theatre Company’s Arcadia Stage in Old City, Philadelphia. Nine performances only, presented by Pier Players Theatre Company. Tickets are now on sale here.
The remounted production includes the same stellar cast—Benjamin Behrend (Greg), Chelsea Cylinder (Lisa), Erin Coffman (Miriam), Nina Vitek (Web), Madeline Snyder (Judge Sapphire/Ensemble/Miriam [u/s]), Abrham Bogale (Tim/Ensemble/Web [u/s]), Niamh Sherlock (Ensemble/Lisa [u/s]) and Joshua Gold (Ensemble/Greg [u/s]).
But we’ve updated the show with new scenes, new songs and old rules.
Learn more about the musical here. The world premiere production was Barrymore Recommended, raved about by The New Yorker, named one of the top things to do in Philly by Philadelphia Magazine and Visit Philly, and featured internationally on BBC World Service.
